Ayacucho: More than 11 kilometers of rural road in Luis Carranza were improved

The National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida) and the District Municipality of Luis Carranza completed the periodic maintenance of 11.25 kilometers of unpaved neighborhood road on the Yanaccocha highway section, located in Iglesiayucc Huaycco, Asnaccpampa community, La Mar province, Ayacucho region. This work improves the safe transitability of the population and strengthens the transport of agricultural products, as well as facilitating access to tourism, health, education, and local commerce. In this way, more families in the district directly benefit from alternative development investments, moving away from the dependency on illicit economies. The intervention had an investment of S/450,000 financed by Devida. The works included the maintenance of the road surface, the reconfiguration of the road and the ditches along the entire stretch.
