With the purpose of strengthening the food security of the families in the area and contributing to their well-being, the Regional Directorate of Production (Direpro) of the Regional Government of Ayacucho carried out the restocking with trout fry in the Usmay lagoon, located in the district of Tambo, La Mar province. This action was developed within the framework of the agreement signed between Direpro and the Tambo District Municipality, aimed at promoting access to a food rich in vitamins, proteins, and nutrients, and at the same time contributing to the reduction of anemia rates in the region. The activity is part of the regional aquaculture strengthening plan, which contemplates the additional restocking of 30,000 trout fry in the Saraccocha lagoon and in the Tamraccocha lagoon, located in the Chungui district, thus expanding the scope of the project and its positive impact on ...
