Aydın, a significant agricultural city, has once again proven its strength in olive cultivation by ranking 3rd in Turkey both in table olive and oil olive production. According to the statement of Aydın Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry based on 2024 TUIK data, Aydın continues to lead in Turkish olive cultivation. Aydın ranked 3rd in Turkey with the production of 152,362 tons of table olives in 27,138 hectares. Aydın also achieved 3rd place in Turkey with the production of 365,125 tons of oil olives in 125,756 hectares. With a total of 25,110,538 olive trees, Aydın accounts for 13% of table olive production and 14% of oil olive production in Turkey.
