Azerbaijan increased supplies of milk powder from Russia

In 2023, Azerbaijan has multiplied its purchases of skim milk powder and whole milk powder, as well as whey from Russia. The head of the Federal Center "Agroexport" Dmitry Krasnov spoke about this. Thus, supplies of skimmed milk powder from Russia to Azerbaijan over the 11 months of last year increased 127 times and reached 1.2 thousand tons. Supplies of whole milk powder increased 124 times and reached 0.9 thousand tons. The volume of whey imports increased 10.6 times – up to 0.4 thousand tons. In total, based on the results of 11 months of last year, Russia exported 17.1 thousand tons of skimmed milk powder worth $36 million. Supply volumes increased more than 6 times. The Russian Federation supplied a total of 2.5 thousand tons of whole milk powder to foreign markets, which is 3.5 times higher than the previous year.
