BABH has a new executive director

The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) has a new executive director. Valentin Atanasov temporarily heads the BFSA By order of Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, Dr. Kalina Milusheva has been appointed as the executive director of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA). This was announced by the government press office. Since 2024, Dr. Milusheva has been the director of the Regional Food Safety Directorate – Blagoevgrad. She has many years of professional experience in the BFSA system, starting in 2011 as an inspector in the "Food Control" department of the RDSF - Blagoevgrad, and since 2015 she has been heading the department as its head.
