Bahia and Germany Strengthen Ties in Agribusiness

The adoption of technologies, sustainable practices, and innovative solutions in the field was the focus of the official mission by the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Regional Identity of Germany (BMLEH) to Western Bahia. The visit, conducted between June 17 and 19, was coordinated by the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Irrigation, Fishing, and Aquaculture of Bahia (Seagri), with support from Bahiainvest. During the mission, the German delegation traveled through the municipalities of Luís Eduardo Magalhães, Formosa do Rio Preto, and Riachão das Neves, where they encountered local initiatives related to regenerative agriculture, product traceability, pasture recovery, and crop-livestock-forest integration (ILPF). The objective was to learn about sustainable productive models and discuss future partnerships.
