Bahrain has approved Ukrainian poultry producers to enter its market, expanding export opportunities for Ukrainian farmers. The State Production and Consumer Service reported the development, highlighting that Ukrainian-made products have received high safety ratings globally. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and State Production and Consumer Service are working to open new markets for Ukrainian goods. The health certificate for poultry meat and products exported to Bahrain is now available on the State Production and Consumer Service's official website. This is Bahrain's market opening follows an agreement with Bosnia and Herzegovina for Ukrainian mechanically deboned poultry meat. In 2023, Ukraine exported 425,000 tons of chicken, valued at $800 million, with the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and Slovakia being the main importers.
