Peru was the second largest supplier, contributing 0.9% of the total with US $ 5 million, marking a 15% increase from the previous year. The country's banana imports from Peru also saw a 7% increase in volume and a 10% increase in value. Walnuts were the second most imported Peruvian fruit, with a 22% drop in volume but a 15% growth in value. The price of tangelos, the third most imported Peruvian fruit, saw a significant increase of 48%. This placed Peru as the third largest supplier of fruit to Finland, following Spain and the Netherlands.
