Banco do Brasil disburses R$ 85 billion in financing for the 2025/26 crop season

Banco do Brasil has already disbursed around R$ 85 billion in financing for agribusiness in the 2025/26 crop season, which began on July 1 and extends until June 30, 2026. The figure includes rural credit operations, agricultural securities, such as Cédulas de Produto Rural (CPRs), agroindustrial credit, and resources for circulation, known as agribusiness chain businesses, carried out from July to the end of November, in addition to covering the current operations of rural debt renegotiation. The amount is lower than the R$ 105 billion verified in the same period of the previous season. The numbers were presented by the Vice President of Agribusiness and Family Agriculture of the bank, Gilson Bittencourt.
