The article reports on the performance of feed barley and corn markets in both France and Ukraine. In Hungary, the price of corn has slightly decreased in recent weeks, with the average price for fodder corn being HUF 73-74 thousand in late November, which is 30% higher than the previous year. The price of March listing ISCC NUTS II sustainable fodder corn on BÉT fell by HUF 1,000 to HUF 83,000/ton between November 25 and December 6. In Ukraine, both corn and barley prices are increasing due to high demand and slow grain sales by producers, with corn priced between 81-92 thousand hryvnias and barley priced around 7.5-8.8 thousand hryvnias. Hungarian farmers are facing challenges with the high cost of fodder, while Ukrainian farmers are benefiting from the higher prices.
