Bayer has launched two new crop protection products in Canada: the flupyrfurone insecticide and the pyrifluquinazon herbicide.

Sivanto® Energy: Providing rapid and lasting flea beetle control Sivantto® Energy is a combination insecticide that combines the action mechanisms of bifenthrin (Group 3) and flupyradifurone (Group 4D) to provide rapid and reliable control of canola flea beetles. One of the standout features of this product is its quick action and long-lasting residual activity, with an internal absorption protection effect lasting up to 4 days, which can continuously protect canola crops. A Bayer product manager stated that this dual-mechanism design not only achieves comprehensive pest management but also provides growers with a flexible operational window, helping to schedule field operations more efficiently and allowing them to focus on other agricultural management aspects.
