The Indonesian National Zakat Amil Agency (Baznas) is pushing for the management of DAM meat from Indonesian Hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia to combat poverty and reduce stunting in Indonesia. Chairman Prof. Dr. KH. Noor Achmad stressed the necessity of slaughtering DAM animals on haram land for validity. Baznas, authorized to manage this meat, aims to provide nutritious food to the Indonesian mustahik community. Collaboration with canning companies is essential for optimal results. Fadlul Imansyah, Chief Executive of the Hajj Financial Management Agency, underscored the importance of following ulama's consensus and engaging with prospective pilgrims.
