São Paulo, 10/13/2025 - BB Seguridade reported that life insurance premiums issued in August declined by 0.1% compared to the same period in 2024 to R$ 327 million. The drop is justified by the smaller number of business days, as the average daily premium expanded by 4.6%, due to the lower volume of cancellations, expansion of new sales, and higher average ticket.
Meanwhile, lender insurance premiums grew by 11.7% due to the expansion of corporate segment sales to R$ 344 million.
The rural segment, on the other hand, shrank by 30.6% to R$ 704 million, impacted by agriculture (-51.5%), rural producer life (-28.7%), and pawn (-5.2%).
