Bittencourt explained that the drop in new contracts should be partially offset by operations under the scope of Provisional Measure 1314, which allocates credit to the sector. The MP provides for the release of R$ 12 billion for this line, of which R$ 4.3 billion are directed to BB. In addition to this volume, the bank is also mobilizing R$ 24 billion in free resources for renegotiations with rural producers.
