Costa Rica: Bean producers received a loan of ¢45 million to increase productivity

More than 300 families dedicated to bean production in La Cruz de la Guanacaste received, in total, a loan of ¢45 million to increase their productivity. This was possible thanks to the support of the Rural Development Institute (Inder). The delivery took place within the framework of the tour of Guanacaste by Inder's executive president, Eduardo Robert. According to the entity, the beneficiaries belong to the Association for the Social Development of La Cruz; Small Farmers of Las Brumas II; Administrator of the Orosi Valley Food Processing Center; of Small Agricultural Producers of La Junta del Caoba and the Industrial Agricultural Cooperative for the Improvement of Life of Belize. “The five organizations received ¢45 million in total, through Inder's Rural Credit service at competitive interest rates.
