Brazilian bean exports have reached new records, both in the monthly result and in the 12-month cumulative total. This is indicated by surveys from the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea). According to researchers, Mato Grosso has established itself as the main supplier of the exported product, with a focus on varieties different from those consumed in Brazil. Thus, the increase in exports has not directly affected the supply and prices of carioca and black beans traded in the domestic market. According to data from Secex, Brazil shipped 85.4 thousand tons of beans in September, the highest monthly volume ever recorded by the Secretariat. In the cumulative total for 2025 (from January to September), exports amount to 361.9 thousand tons, already surpassing the total shipped throughout the year 2024 (343.6 thousand tons).
