The year 2026 is expected to be characterized by the consolidation of price monitoring of beans by Cepea/CNA, with widespread dissemination of daily average prices in different states and regions. These disclosures will continue to allow for an understanding of market dynamics among different types of beans, as well as between different supplying and purchasing regions of the country. Cepea, in partnership with CNA, also seeks to expand price monitoring of other products, such as cowpea, which, according to Conab, accounts for just over 20% of the national supply. Regarding production, Conab estimates the 2025/26 season at 3 million tons, 1.8% lower than the previous one. With initial stocks (January/26) of 106.8 thousand tons and imports (between January and December/26) of 21.6 thousand tons, the internal availability will be 3.13 million tons.
