Brazilian exports of beef are maintaining a strong pace in October, already totaling 201.3 thousand tons shipped in the first 13 business days of the month, according to data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex). The volume represents a daily average of 15.4 thousand tons, with revenue of US$ 1.108 billion and an average value of US$ 5,506 per ton. Compared to October 2024, there was an increase of 48.9% in the average daily export value, a gain of 26.1% in the quantity shipped, and an advance of 18.1% in the average price. The performance reinforces the good phase of the sector, which came from a historical record in September, when Brazil exported 373.8 thousand tons and earned US$ 1.92 billion, according to a survey by the Brazilian Association of Meatpackers (Abrafrigo).
