The Belarusian government has extended the licensing of exports of certain types of grain for another six months, according to the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 736 of October 5. The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade will issue one-time licenses for export deliveries of these crops after coordination with local authorities. The resolution covers 18 types of goods, including wheat, rye, barley, oats, corn, buckwheat, millet, triticale, rapeseed, and sunflower seeds. The government can refuse to issue licenses if the domestic market needs these products or if the interested party is not the manufacturer of the goods, unless the case involves international humanitarian aid or transit cargo transportation that begins and ends outside of Belarus.
