The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) of Belarus has introduced price regulation for several food items and products due to rising global food prices. The resolution regulates the prices of pearl barley, meat offal, semi-smoked sausage, canned beef stew, canned pork stew, live fish, frozen fish, margarine, sweet pepper, instant coffee, black tea, and table salt. It also sets the maximum surcharge for importers, wholesalers, and traders for items like cheese, wheat flour, dry pasta, canned fish, rice, semolina, millet groats, oatmeal, potatoes, and fresh vegetables.
