Belarus introduces temporary licensing for the export of grains and oilseeds

In Belarus, temporary licensing is being introduced for the export of wheat and meslin, rye, barley, oats, corn, buckwheat, millet, triticale, and other grains. This is provided for by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of April 10, 2024 No. 263, officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal on April 12. Also, the list of goods for which export licensing will apply includes crushed grain without processing and processed (wheat, rye, other cereals), rapeseed and sunflower seeds. The resolution states that the export of these goods outside the republic is carried out under one-time licenses, which are issued by the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade in agreement with the regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee.
