DP World Callao, a major port terminal, has played a crucial role in Peruvian agriculture by exporting over 5,181 TEUs of blueberries to Asia, including China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, from January to November 2024. These exports have generated a significant revenue of USD 1.64 billion for the Peruvian economy. Located at the South Dock, the terminal accounts for 85% of the total blueberry shipments. Alongside blueberries, avocados have also contributed to the growth of Peru's agricultural exports, with a 50.7% increase compared to 2023, as reported by the Association of Exporters (Adex) of Peru.
