Bolivia is planning to expand its pork exports, initially sending test batches of 30 to 60 tons to China and the European Union. The country's pork production hit a record high of over 73,000 tons in 2023, marking a 48% increase in five years. The vice minister has suggested that up to 20% of the national production could be allocated for export, ensuring compliance with phytosanitary standards.
