The Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture is collaborating with the TNI Military and the Iskandar Muda Regional Military Command to increase national food production, particularly corn, with the aim of achieving self-sufficiency. The ministry is optimizing idle land for corn cultivation, providing free seeds, fertilizer, and agricultural machinery, and constructing tertiary irrigation systems. The ministry is also supporting the I'm Jagong food security program and providing assistance to Aceh Province and Aceh Besar District, including rice and corn seeds, biofortified rice seeds, corn production facilities, control of Plant Pest Organisms, livestock, durian seeds, horticultural processing and post-harvest facilities, and infrastructure for farming and production roads.
