The first quarter of 2025 started promising for the Brazilian bovine genetics market. The entry of semen doses into the market, which includes national collection and imports, recorded a 4.34% increase compared to the same period in 2024, totaling 5,827,056 doses. The data is from the Asbia Index, from the Brazilian Artificial Insemination Association, prepared by the Center for Applied Economic Studies (Cepea/USP), which shows that the output, encompassing sales to livestock farmers, exports, and service provision, grew 6.23%, reaching 4,311,613 doses.
