Brazil and Cameroon discuss new partnerships to strengthen the cocoa chain

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) received a delegation from the Republic of Cameroon on Wednesday (25) to discuss bilateral partnerships and strengthen the cocoa chain. The meeting is part of a cooperation proposal between the two countries, aiming to promote the exchange of experiences and revitalize cocoa production in both. One of the main topics discussed was a visit to the African country in 2024. During this visit, Brazilian technicians and researchers will learn about the cocoa production and management model in Cameroon, also presenting the good practices and sustainable techniques used in Brazilian cocoa farming.
