On an official mission to Southeast Asia, the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro, announced an important advancement for the Brazilian pork chain: the anticipation of the audit mission that will evaluate 16 pork slaughterhouses, a fundamental step for the opening of the Malaysian market. The announcement was made during a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security of Malaysia, Mohamad Sabu. The meeting is part of the mission led by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who is making official visits to Indonesia and Malaysia between October 23 and 28, with the aim of strengthening strategic partnerships and expanding Brazil's presence in the region.
