Brazil and Uruguay signed a cooperation agreement on bioinputs. The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Minister of Agriculture, Carlos Fávaro, and the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of Uruguay, Luis Alfredo Fratti Silveira, during the 2025 Conference of Ministers of Agriculture of the Americas, held in Brasília. In a statement, the ministry informed that the agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries for the development of policies, products, processes, and technologies of biological origin aimed at improving agricultural and livestock production.
