In the 2023/24 coffee harvest, Brazil achieved a milestone by exporting 47.3 million bags, marking a 32.7% increase from the previous year and surpassing the previous record. The country shipped to 120 countries, generating revenue of US$9.826 billion, the highest since 1990. The Port of Santos was the main hub for these exports, handling 68.9% of the total. Arabica coffee was the most exported variety, followed by canephora, with a significant increase. Instant and roasted products saw a slight decrease. The top buyers included the United States, Germany, and Belgium, with the European Union also increasing its purchases. Differentiated coffees, with sustainable certifications, made up 18.6% of total exports, showing a 45.4% growth.
