In September 2024, Brazil achieved a record coffee export of 4.464 million 60 kg bags, marking a 33.3% increase from the previous year, and generating a revenue of US$ 1.194 billion, the highest ever for the month. From July to September of the 2024/25 harvest year, Brazil's coffee shipments totaled 12.050 million bags, earning US$ 3.105 billion. Despite challenges like logistical issues and delays, the accumulated export volume from January to September reached a record 36.4 million bags, with income of US$ 8.451 billion, an increase of 51.9% from the previous year. The United States, Germany, Belgium, Italy, and Japan are the main importers of Brazilian coffee. However, the country faces logistical challenges that have led to approximately 2 million bags not being shipped.
