The Brazilian National News Agency reported that among the recalled products is a strawberry pulp from the De Marchi brand, batch 09437-181 (valid until November 1, 2026). According to the analysis report from the Public Health Laboratory of Santa Catarina State (Lacen-SC), the batch failed foreign object detection tests.
Additionally, due to a report from the Federal District Public Health Laboratory (Lacen-DF) showing excessive sulfur dioxide content in tested samples, the National Health Surveillance Agency ordered a recall of whole mushroom canned goods from the Imperador brand, produced by Indústria e Comércio Nobre company. The recalled product batch is 241023CHI, valid until October 2026.
Similarly, test results from Lacen-DF showed that the 29th batch of garlic sauce from the Qualitá brand, produced by Sakura Nakaya Alimentos company (valid until January 2026), also had non-compliant sulfur dioxide levels and was ordered to be recalled by the National Health Surveillance Agency.
For the Vale dos Vinhedos brand extra virgin olive oil, the Brazilian Health Surveillance Agency decided to seize all products and completely prohibit its production, sale, import, advertising, and use.
The agency stated that in addition to the unclear product origin, laboratory analysis reports showed that the olive oil samples failed tests and did not comply with Brazilian labeling and physicochemical testing standards. Regarding Intralogística Distribuidora Concept, the company responsible for selling the product, its Federal Taxpayer Registration Number (CNPJ) was suspended due to inability to verify its federal tax registration status.
