The Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) has announced that Brazil will start exporting chicken to Papua New Guinea (PNG) this year, as part of a strategy to expand its presence in the Oceania region. PNG, an island nation in the southwestern Pacific, relies heavily on poultry as a primary protein source for its 10 million residents. ABPA President Ricardo Santin praised the leadership of Minister Favaro and his team for their efforts in bolstering Brazil's global chicken market status.
