Brazil's soluble coffee exports in the first half of 2022 saw a decrease in volume but a significant increase in revenue, largely due to the logistical crisis and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Despite this, Brazil managed to expand its sales to 24 other markets, including Myanmar, Canada, the UK, and Colombia. The performance of Chinese imports of Brazilian soluble coffees also showed a notable increase. The consumption of soluble coffee in Brazil slightly advanced by 0.2%. This performance is attributed to the actions of the Brazilian Association of the Industry of Soluble Coffee (Abics) and the variety of products offered by the industries.
