Brazilian Soybean Exports Hit Record in 2025

Brazil exported 14.10 million tons of soybeans in May 2025, a volume 4.93% higher than recorded in the same period of the previous year. In the accumulated total for 2025, grain exports reached a record of 51.53 million tons, representing an increase of 2.67% compared to the accumulated total of 2024. This growth is related to the wide availability of soybeans in the country, resulting from a large harvest. The information was released in the weekly analysis by the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea) this Monday (9). China played a crucial role in this scenario, importing 2.38 million tons more in the accumulated total of 2025 compared to 2024, boosting the total export volume from Brazil.
