Brazilian Teroldego wine receives the highest score in the specialized guide

Since the 2000s, when it was introduced to Brazil by the Manus winery with seedlings imported from Italy, the Teroldego grape has been successfully adapting to the terroirs of Rio Grande do Sul. This adaptation has elevated Teroldego to one of the main labels in the Manus Classic line and has now earned it a spot in the renowned Guia dos Vinhos. The Manus Classico Teroldego 2021 achieved the best score among Brazilian wines in the R$201 to R$300 price range, with a rating of 92 points. In the guide, the wine was described as "elegant and harmonious" and recommended as "a wine to surprise". The Guia dos Vinhos highlighted Teroldego as "a red with layers and personality", which presents a balanced aroma, mixing red and blue fruits with notes of cedar, tobacco, pitanga and cinnamon.
