In July 2024, Brazilian coffee exports surged by 25.7% to 3.774 million 60 kg bags, generating US$ 932.5 million in revenue, a 47.9% increase from July 2023. Canephora coffee exports rose by 82.2%, while Arabica and soluble coffee grew by 13% and 26%, respectively. From January to July 2024, exports totaled 28.146 million bags, up 46.3% from the same period in 2023, with revenue reaching US$ 6.277 billion. The U.S. remained the top importer, followed by Germany, Belgium, Italy, and Japan. In 2025, 47.3% of Brazilian coffee exports went to the EU, with a 64.9% increase in exports to the region. Specialty coffees accounted for 18.5% of total exports, with a 66.2% increase. Despite logistical challenges, Brazil continues to meet global demand, and the EUDR will take effect in January 2025.
