Brazilian coffee exports have reached a record high of 46.399 million bags between January and November 2024, generating US$ 11.302 billion in revenue, a 22.3% increase from the previous record in 2022. This growth is despite challenges such as port logistics issues, which have cost exporters an estimated R$30.4 million in additional costs. The United States, Germany, Belgium, Italy, and Japan are the main importers of Brazilian coffee, with the United States importing 16% of all exports. Other producing countries like Mexico, Vietnam, and India have also increased their purchases of Brazilian green coffee.
