Brazil's coffee exports reached 50.02 million bags, reaching $11.5 billion in 2024

Between November 2023 and October 2024, Brazil's coffee exports reached 50.02 million 60kg bags, generating foreign exchange revenues of US$11.5 billion, with an average price of US$230.02 per bag. This result reflects the strong performance of the sector, driven mainly by green coffee exports. Green coffee accounted for 92.13% of total exports, with 46.08 million bags, of which 79.75% corresponded to the Coffea arabica variety (36.75 million bags) and 20.25% to the Coffea canephora variety (9.33 million bags). In the industrialized coffee segment, Brazil exported 3.93 million bags, or 7.87% of the total, with soluble coffee standing out, totaling 3.89 million bags, representing 98.8% of this total. Roasted and ground coffee, in turn, accounted for only 1.2% of industrialized coffee exports, with 47.19 thousand bags exported.
