625 thousand broccoli seedlings were distributed to farmers to be planted in the areas where paddy harvest is done in Bafra district. In the statement made at the broccoli seedling distribution ceremony in the garden of Bafra Chamber of Agriculture, it was stated that within the scope of the "Enabling the Use of Agricultural Lands Project" implemented in 2022, 625 thousand broccoli seedlings were distributed to 25 paddy producers in Bafra district for an area of 250 decares to be grown as a second product on paddy cultivated lands. It was stated that the production started with the distributed seedlings in late March and early April 2023, and an average of 800 kilograms to 1,000 kilograms of broccoli was harvested per decare, resulting in a gross income of approximately 15 thousand to 20 thousand lira. At the ceremony, within the scope of the project, 625 thousand broccoli seedlings were distributed to 34 farmers in 17 rural neighborhoods for an area of approximately 314 decares. ...
