REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The President Director of Bulog, Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, is preparing an air distribution pattern to reach flood-affected areas in Sumatra that are currently cut off from land access. He has directed his team to map out isolated points and ensure that aid supplies continue to move to the affected locations. Bulog is monitoring several areas in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra that are experiencing blocked routes due to heavy flooding. These conditions make it impossible for logistics shipments to rely on land vehicles, making air routes the fastest and safest option. "For isolated locations, we are synergizing with friends from the TNI who have equipment, such as planes or helicopters, including friends from Basarnas," said Rizal during a press conference at Bulog's Head Office in Jakarta on Saturday (29/11/2025).
