Burkina Faso has reinitiated a program to boost wheat cultivation, following previous unsuccessful attempts. The 2023-2024 campaign will begin with an experimental phase across five regions: Upper Basins, Cascades, Boucle du Mouhoun, Center-East, and Center-North. Initially, around fifty producers will participate in this initiative. The success of wheat production in Burkina Faso hinges on the quality of the land, irrigation, and fertilization, as highlighted by agricultural experts.
