Russia: Business opinions on new draft regulations in the fishing industry are expected

The Ministry of Agriculture is planning to discuss draft orders that will restrict the catch of various fish and seafood. The proposed restrictions include the closure of the northern shrimp fishery in the Sea of Japan from March 1 to March 31, 2025, and a ban on the catch of pollock and herring in the West Bering Sea zone for certain periods.
