Experts predict a rise in the prices of milk-related products due to a decrease in the number of dairy cows, particularly in the industrial sector, which accounts for 80% of the supply. The vice-president of the association, Anna Lavrenyuk, anticipates a 2.5% increase in milk price, 5.5% for butter, 2.5% for sour cream, and 3.5% for cottage cheese. The cost of raw milk may also rise by 2.5% to 2.67 rubles by the end of the year, leading to higher prices for finished dairy products.
