Ukraine is experiencing a shortage of high-quality white cabbage, leading to a significant price increase of up to 35 UAH/kg ($0.84/kg), which is 16% higher than the previous week and three times the price from 2023. The limited supply is due to farmers holding back their cabbage in hopes of higher prices. Wholesalers are responding by raising their purchase prices. Additionally, potatoes are also more expensive, with prices ranging from 22 to 30 UAH/kg, a doubling in cost compared to last year.
