A packaging factory in Cambodia is set to begin exporting coconuts to China, following approval from China Customs and the signing of a protocol on plant quarantine requirements. This marks the first Cambodian agricultural product approved for export to China in 2024 and is part of ongoing efforts to increase Cambodian agricultural exports to China. Other fruits, including bananas, mangoes, longans, that can be exported to China. The provinces contributing most to the coconut production in Cambodia are Siem Reap, Kampong Cham, Kampong Banteay Meanchey, Kampong Thom, Svay Rieng and Siem Reap.
