Cambodia now has the third largest cashew growing area in the world, covering 580,117 hectares, according to the Vietnam Trade Office in Cambodia. Provinces like Kampong Thom, Kratie, and Ratanakiri contribute significantly to this. The documentation of cashew growing areas is part of the effort to effectively manage agricultural land resources, as launched by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia. Meanwhile, Cambodia is the largest supplier of raw cashew nuts to Vietnam, with over 774 thousand tons imported in the first nine months of the year.
