The Vietnam Trade Office in Cambodia announced that the country has the world's third-largest cashew growing area, covering 580,117 hectares. This is predominantly located in provinces such as Kampong Thom, Kratie, and Ratanakiri. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia has launched a document detailing these growing areas to support stakeholders in managing agricultural land resources effectively and sustainably. Meanwhile, Cambodia is the largest supplier of raw cashews to Vietnam, with over 774 thousand tons imported in the first nine months of this year.
