The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) participated in the panel 'Recovery and Conversion of Degraded Areas with Climate Resilient Practices', organized by the Brazil-Germany Agricultural Policy Dialogue (APD) at AgriZone, this Thursday (13). The meeting was attended by the secretary of Rural Development of Mapa, Marcelo Fiadeiro, and brought together experts to discuss strategies to expand productive restoration and strengthen climate-resilient agricultural systems. During the panel, Fiadeiro highlighted that foreign delegations have shown positive surprise with the advances achieved by Brazil in the recovery of degraded areas. He recalled that the ABC Plan (2010–2020) met all the goals and consolidated the country as a reference in sustainable production techniques.
