The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) has put into operation a new decentralized Agromercado office in Cañete, the second in the Lima region, aimed at offering specialized technical services and commercial support to small and medium-sized producers from Cañete, Yauyos, and Huarochirí, with the purpose of strengthening their competitiveness and facilitating their access to higher-value markets. Located in one of the most dynamic agricultural areas of South Lima, this office will allow the consolidation of a territorial network of agro-business support focused on productive chains with high potential such as Italia grapes, Hass and Fuerte avocados, Delicia apples, prickly pears, "paria" type fresh cheese, and guinea pig breeding.
