Cannabis: The first batch of imported seeds has been delivered to farmers in Morocco

Morocco received its first imported cannabis seeds from several countries such as Switzerland, Uruguay, Hungary, Bulgaria, Italy and the United States. This import took place last Wednesday on the occasion of the start of the growing season for the first cannabis crop. According to information obtained by Hespress, the first batch of imported seeds has been delivered to farmers and cooperatives in the provinces of Al Hoceima, Chefchaouen and Taounate. Acceptance reports were signed and nearly 105 hectares of seeds suitable for cultivation were distributed to more than 170 farmers. An investor who imported seeds from Switzerland said that the distribution of seeds, around 760,000 seeds, revived farmers and encouraged them to commit to this ambitious project.
